Early life:
Shigeru Miyamoto was born in November 15, 1962 in Kyoto, Japan.
From an early age, Miyamoto began to explore the natural areas around his home. On one of these expeditions, Miyamoto came upon a cave, and, after days of hesitation, went inside. This exploration inspired the countryside seen in his famous game the Legend of Zelda. Miyamoto graduated from Kanazawa Municipal College of Industrial Arts with a degree in industrial design.
